Position Summary
Reporting to the Program Director, Quality, Safety, and Transformation, the Education Services Coordinator is responsible for managing workflows that support staff education and orientation. Key duties include scheduling general
orientation sessions and educator facilitators, organizing student placements, and serving as the primary administrator and superuser for the AHS MyLearningLink (MLL) learning management system (LMS). This role ensures accurate integration of materials into the AHS LMS and maintains consistency across all Carewest e-learning products in alignment with corporate standards.
This position oversees e-learning systems and records, including developing and maintaining modules, tracking learner progress, and ensuring compliance with quality and provincial standards. The Coordinator also manages logistics for staff education, administers student placements, and collaborates with subject matter experts to support corporate training initiatives.
This role acts as the central contact point for the Education Services department for internal and external stakeholders. The Coordinator provides administrative support for education services delivered by Clinical Educators and Education Associates, including database management, learner registration, room bookings, meeting coordination, and processing orientation data from
Education and Recruitment Services. Additional responsibilities include generating statistical reports and assisting with basic financial tasks such as variance reporting.
Qualifications
- Two-year post-secondary diploma in business administration, adult education, human resources management, or a related field. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
Experience
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- High level of computer literacy and proficiency with Excel required.
- Knowledge of FileMaker, Skyprep, MyLearningLink or HSPnet an asset.
- Excellent oral & written communication skills.
- Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes simultaneously.
- Solution-oriented problem solving.
- Proven aptitude to work in an environment requiring ongoing flexibility, attention to detail, well-developed organizational and time management skills.
