Specialist, Organizational Learning & Wellness

Approximately 75.0 Bi-weekly Hours

NONU $64.16/hr $77.78/hr

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Specialist, Organizational Learning & Wellness is instrumental in cultivating a culture of continuous improvement, inclusion, and operational excellence throughout the hospital. This role leads the design and implementation of innovative learning and development programs, enabling leaders and staff to achieve strategic objectives and contribute to a healthy, collaborative workplace.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drive initiatives that reinforce a learning culture and fair accountability, supporting leadership alignment and stakeholder engagement during system transformation. Model and coach practices that build climates of trust, belonging, and continuous growth.
  • Lead the design and delivery of innovative learning programs, including corporate orientation and e-learning strategies. Assess organizational needs, develop impactful content, and facilitate opportunities for professional growth at all levels.
  • Develop and manage programs that accelerate leadership integration and growth. Provide coaching, mentorship, and assessment to ensure leaders are equipped to succeed and talent management aligns with organizational values.
  • Facilitate team building, conflict resolution, and learning initiatives that enhance connection and resilience. Champion a positive workplace environment through proactive support services and reflective practice.
  • Engage with internal and external partners to ensure learning priorities are aligned and responsive to evolving organizational needs.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Master’s degree in Education, Organizational Development or a related discipline or 15 years of progressive work experience in these fields in lieu of graduate degree.
  • Certification in LEAN / Six Sigma or other quality or process improvement methodology.
  • Advanced expertise in organizational development, adult learning, and leadership coaching.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing learning and wellness programs, ideally within a healthcare setting.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to navigate complexity, drive change, and inspire others in a dynamic environment.
